The Girl Scout Law

The recitation of the Girl Scout Law is usually reserved for badge and other ceremonies and not typically said at the onset of every meeting.  That said, it is at the discretion of the leaders how they begin each troop meeting.

I will do my best to be
honest and fair,
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong, and
responsible for what I say and do,
and to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place, and
be a sister to every Girl Scout.

The law has changed over the years.  The current version has been in use since 1996.  Check out it’s history here.
